We have a vision up to 2010 and beyond. If we don't help children with essential needs, then who will?
In Matthew chapter 25 beginning at verse 31, Jesus talks about
"when you saw me hungry, did you feed me? When I was naked, did you clothe me? When I was in prison, did you visit me?"
What will we say to Him when He asks us these questions?
Place for Hope recognises that there is a huge need for these children and their carers. We hope to be able to raise £100,000 in order to purchase and convert a house into a wheelchair friendly drop in centre for the children and their families. Here the children can find fun, acceptance and friendship while learning about the one person who will always care for them. Their carers can find a place of rest and peace, where they can seek emotional support and advice knowing that their children are safe.
In the meantime we continue to offer advice, support, and practical help to those we visit, and pray that the leaders of the country will acknowledge the needs of disabled people in Kosova and make real provision for them.
